г.   OURS IN TORINO Interview with Ivan Tcherezov in the newspaper “Komsomolskays pravda – Izhevsk” Ivan Tcherezov to “Komsomolka” newspaper: “I was 30 seconds behind the bronze” In the Sprint race a biathlete from Izhevsk was the best from the Russian team. - I’ve done everything I could, – said Ivan to journalists right after the finish of the Sprint race while thousands of Izhevsk citizens were already celebrating the success of our townsman. Although Tcherezov finally ranked 6th, he was the best Russian biathlete. After the finish of the race newspaper “Komsomolka” managed to interview Ivan by phone: - Our congratulations with a successful performance today! How do you feel now? - Thanks! I still can’t recover, I feel really tired. - How are you planning to rest? - We are going to sleep. Generally we try to rest as much as possible and prepare for the following races. - How would you comment today’s race yourself? - The second half was extremely hard. The weather was tricky. Today its about 5 degrees above zero here. The snow is wet and soft. So it was really difficult on the cross country course. When I was on my last lap I was running almost automatically, leaving all my force on the track. - What are your impressions of the Olympic Games in general? - At the moment I feel a bit stressed. Now we are planning just to relax and only then we will analyze our mistakes in order to avoid them in the future. - Thank you, Ivan and good luck! - Honestly saying Ivan is really disappointed and sad although he hides it, - commented a fan from Izhevsk and deputy of the State Council of Udmurtia Oleg Troshkov by the phone from Torino. – He told he hadn’t had enough force.
