г. One miss and eleventh rank Today in Finnish Kontiolahti two races were held: Women and Men Sprint. The weather made both sportsmen and fans pleased: it was a sunny day with no wind. Ivan Tcherezov perfectly went through the first half of the race and shot clean in the prone. Unfortunately in the standing stance Ivan made a miss with his last shot. That miss didn’t allow Ivan to rank higher than 11th place. Both races won biathletes from Sweden. In the Women Sprint won Ann Carin Olofsson, in the Men Carl Johan Bergman celebrated his victory. Among Russian women Olga Anisimova was the best ranking 13th and with no penalties. Here are the results of other Russian biathletes: Natalia Guseva 17 (1 0), Svetlana Ishmuratova 26 (1 1), Olga Zaitseva 27 (2 0), Irina Malgina 33 (2 2). Sergei Rozhkov was the best Russian biathlete in the Men competition ranking finally 8th with perfect shooting. Results of other Russian sportsmen: Maxim Tchoudov 13 (2 1), Andrei Makoveev 23 (0 1), Dmitri Iarochenko 33 (0 1), Alexei Soloviev 45 (0 1), Nikolay Kruglov 55 (0 2).
