г.   Individual races. 15.12.05 Today in Slovakia (Osrblie) Individual races among men and women took place. This day turned out to be really successful for Russian team. Three Russian biathletes were able today to finish on a podium spot. Unfortunately Ivan Tcherezov wasn’t among them. Despite good course time through the distance Ivan had three misses (one during first, second and third shooting sessions), which didn’t afford him to be among the leaders of the race. Ivan Tcherezov ranked finally 18th with the time of 46:56,6 minutes (together with penalty minutes). The deficit from the winner of the race German biathlete Sven Fischer was 3:55,1 minutes. The best sportsman of Russian team became Maxim Tchoudov. Shooting flawlessly during all four shooting sessions he ranked second at the end. This is first “adult” result in career of this young sportsman. Site’s administration congratulates Maxim sincerely and wishes him to continue making his fans happy. German Michael Roesch ranked third. Here are the results of other Russian biathletes: Pavel Rostovtsev 10 (1 0 0 0), Nikolay Kruglov 20 (1 1 0 1), Sergei Bachkirov 29 (1 0 0 2), Philipp Shulman 70 (0 3 0 2). In Women 15 km Individual two Russian biathletes were able to finish on a podium spot. Gold went to Svetlana Ishmuratova, silver to Albina Akhatova. Florence Baverel-Robert (France) ranked third.
